It is late in the evening as I sit in this carriage alone My heart is at ease knowing that within hours I will be with my family. Today I saw something difficult to watch and this left my mind pondering for a while. It is difficult to simply watch something unjust and be unable to change it with your actions or words. Nevertheless I will continue striving with effort to be better than the me yesterday. Every experience, every moment of life is an opportunity to reflect, learn, humble and grow.

In medical school a moment away from the pressure and competitiveness can truly be helpful. A moment to realise that I am blessed to see peoples successes around me. Another’s success is not pressure for me unless I allow it to be. Rather it is another reason and opportunity to share a smile for their happiness.

Oh God always keep me happy for the happiness and successes of others.
